OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The post-training period comes with a lot of anxiety. Both the trainee and institution want the funds to start “flowing quickly” and any delay is interpreted as failure – regardless of whether the host institution has put in place requirements “that oil” fundraising. We offer a work-based MENTORSHIP PROGRAM and practical guidance to align the training to the trainee’s context.
FINANCING YOUR PROJECT OR AGENCY
The Consortium is the leading partner for Small Organizations and Agencies in Resource Mobilization and Fundraising;
Before the Consortium TEAM starts working with you;
- It does an Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) on you to establish if you are bankable. If there are some gaps, we recommend that these are addressed. Download OCA Tool
- After the OCA, it recommends the most appropriate mechanisms and strategies for financing and then develops a work-plan to follow.
- This same process is also followed in case an agency requires to do its Advocacy Capacity Assessment (ACA). Download ACA Tool
ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR DONORS AND GRASSROOT GROUPS
Every year in October, the Consortium for Grassroots Development Partners convenes a gathering of more than 5000 Community Based agencies, Enterprises and groups to lean, share and meet donors, sponsors and policy makers for a dialogue about funding, financing, capacity and policy.
